Can I bring a cake or cupcakes?

Cupcakes are provided with Birthday packages. Food and beverage not prepared and/or served by Big Thrill Factory is strictly prohibited.

What does Big Thrill Factory provide for the guest of honor?

The birthday honoree receives a free play at Big Thrill Factory Celebration Station. With a touch of luck, he or she can win e-tickets in exchange for prizes at Big Thrill Factory’s redemption counter. Additional e-tickets may be purchased by calling the Event Office prior to party to ensure guests receive plenty of goodies to place in their souvenir gift backpack.

Can I decorate for the birthday party?

Decorations are allowed, but may not be adhered to walls. No confetti, glitter, silly string, candles or piñatas please. We will provide plates, napkins, cups, silverware and all utensils needed.

How long do Play Cards last?

The duration of Play Cards varies depending on the games played. Most games range between 1 and 8 points each. Play Card tickets never expire. Winnings are stored on your Play Card until you’re ready to redeem them for prizes in the redemption area.

What do I need to do to book a birthday party?

Can I hold an event space without a deposit?

No, a deposit is required to guarantee space for the day of your event. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to book birthdays online.  A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for private events (corporate events, social gatherings, team building etc). If your party or event must be canceled, your deposit can be applied toward a rescheduled event if booked within 6 months of cancellation date. Customers are responsible for the full payment if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the party. We accept payment by credit card or cash.

What if some of my guests do not show up? Do I still pay for them?

When booking a special event, we require a final headcount ten (7) business days prior to your event. You'll be charged for this final count or the number of guests in actual attendance, whichever is higher. Encourage your Guests to RSVP and show up for the fun!

What happens if more guests arrive than the contracted amount?

Seating is guaranteed for the number of guests outlined in the contract. If your guest count increases beyond the capacity of the assigned event area, other options are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If you arrive with more than 14 guests (or the maximum outlined in your contract) we cannot guarantee food and space will be available for the additional attendees. We will (attempt to) accommodate and charge accordingly on the day of your event.

How long will the kids’ birthday party last?

Parties are booked for two or three hours depending on the Birthday package chosen; however, after your scheduled event time ends, you are welcome to stay and play games or play in the Kids’ Fun Factory for as long as you like.

How many guests are required to book a kids' birthday party?

A minimum of 10 guests are suggested for packages A, B and C. A minimum of 6 guests are suggested for Birthday package D. You can host a party with less than the minimum outlined, however you will pay the same package rate.Any additional Play Cards are yours to keep. View packages View Packages »

Do I have to provide food for adults that attend my kids' birthday with their children?

Seating is provided based on kids’ birthday package count. Additional adult seating requires food service. For adults attending, you can add them to your selected package if space is available or contact an event planner to customize a package with additional food options. We recommend ordering ahead to ensure food is served within the 40 minute room time.Additional seating may be available, but is limited. Please contact an Event Planner if you have questions.

What do I need to complete my reservation online?

Booking online is fast & convenient! To get started, you just need your preferred event date, guest count and credit card.

The date or time that I need for my child's birthday isn't available online. What are my options?

Only a limited amount of event space is available online. If you do not see the date or time that you are interested in, please call us as space may be available.

How do I know that my event is confirmed at my preferred Big Thrill Factory?

Once you pay your deposit, your event is confirmed with us. You will receive a confirmation email from a local Event Planner with details of your booking.

How do I make changes to my event after it is confirmed?

What needs to be done if I need to cancel my event?

Where will my birthday party take place?

Kids’ birthday parties take place in either our private party rooms or semi-private event areas. Birthday Party Package A and B start in a private room for the first 40 minutes and then a Party Host escorts children through the center to play games. Party Package C is celebrated in our bowling lounge. Birthday Package D starts in either our private party rooms or semi-private event areas depending on daily room availability.

Are drinks included?

Soda is included in the birthday packages. For non-Birthday Events: Adults (21+) have the option of a cash bar, open bar, drink tickets or bar by the hour for alcoholic beverages.
