As you know, Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a growing concern throughout the world and now more locally as well.  All of us at Big Thrill Factory want you to know that your health and safety have always been our first priority and is even more important now.

On top of our daily cleaning procedures, we have stepped up our efforts to make sure our routines are even more rigorous. This means even more time will be spent cleaning throughout of our facilities including cleaning all service counters, games and attractions. We have also increased the number of hand sanitizer dispensers. Like many others, we’re taking guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take.

Here’s what we’re doing:

  1. We are stepping up cleaning efforts and procedures. Besides continuing to thoroughly clean and disinfect our facility every night, our staff will be wiping down and disinfecting high use areas and surfaces on a regular basis throughout the day.
  2. We have instructed our staff to follow CDC guidelines on preventing the spread of illness by thoroughly washing their hands, covering coughs and sneezes, staying home when sick, etc.
  3. We have contingency plans in place to take additional precautions should the rates of infection increase significantly in our communities.

How you can help:

  1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds each time, including when you are at our facility.
  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth, and face.
  3. Keep personal spaces and items clean and disinfected.
  4. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or paper towel or with the crook of your elbow.
  5. If you become ill or develop any symptoms of communicable disease, please stay home until you are cleared to be around others as recommended by CDC guidelines and/or your physician.
  6. Talk with your children about Coronavirus and other communicable diseases to clarify information, discuss any fears they may have, and instruct them in personal health and hygiene.

At Big Thrill Factory, your health and safety are of primary importance and as always, we are committed to providing a safe, clean, inclusive, and respectful environment for all those who visit our facility.  Thank you for staying informed and for doing all you can to help us in this effort. We look forward to seeing you soon!
